Audi is due to launch the second-generation Q5 for the 2018 model year. This great SUV has been around for 8 years now, becoming the company’s top-selling nameplate on the U.S. market. The 2018 Audi Q5 US specs version will offer a single engine option. It will come in the form of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, mated to a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission.The engine cranks out 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, outperforming the current-generation powertrain. According to the automaker, it needs 5.9 seconds to hit the 60 mph limit. For those who opt for more power, an all-new SQ5 with a turbocharged V6 will join the lineup at a later date.

Official pricing details for the 2018 Audi Q5 are still unavailable. However, we expect it to stay in the same price range as its predecessor which starts just under $42,000.
