2018 Audi Q9 Largest SUV Release

According to insider sources, Audi’s largest SUV might make its first public appearance sometime in 2017. As it has been speculated, the brand new model will go on sale under the Q9 moniker. The German automaker’s decision to expand its SUV lineup with an all-new product isn’t that surprising after all. It seems that global markets are currently hungry for high-riding full-size crossovers. That said, expect the 2018 Audi Q9 to become a strong competitor in the full-size luxury SUV segment.

Unfortunately, detailed reports on the upcoming Q9 have yet to surface. According to available information, it will ride on an extended version of the company’s MLB Evo platform. The same underpinnings are currently used by the Q7 SUV. Design-wise, expect the 2018 Audi Q9 to adopt the company’s latest design philosophy. That means it should feature a sharp-looking sheet metal influenced by Audi’s recent Prologue concept. Of course, the flagship Q9 will sport a number of unique styling cues that differentiate it from the rest of Audi’s Q-models.

Audi Q9 Price

We can only speculate about the 2018 Q9 price tag. Some sources suggest that it should be priced somewhere in the middle of the full-size luxury SUV range. Now, the list of its competitors seems to be growing by the day. Some of the well-established names include the likes of Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, Land Rover Range Rover Long-Wheelbase and Cadillac Escalade. However, the recently introduced Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus will also come as formidable rivals.
